From it’s announcement, detractors of Elder Scrolls Online (ESO) have said that it would be impossible to successfully translate the open world gameplay of the Elder Scrolls games into a MMORPG. Well, it turns out that they were right. But to give it a fair shake, I reviewed the game several months after its initial release, hoping that it would be enough time for the developers to get feedback and further polish the game. Turns out they didn’t help much.
